UN welcome European plan to rescue refugee boats.

Geneva, 24.04.2015(Lana) The United Nations on Friday welcomed a plan by the EU to double the rescue efforts missions in the Mediterranean Sea to three folds and said the decisions is to rescue people and to give people fleeing the war a chance to seek asylum. The UN High Commission for Refugee said Europe's reassurance indicate that the operation will have the capacity, resources and the scope of the Italian operation, which ended six months ago. UNHCR spokesperson said that UNHCR sees this as a significant initial step towards the united European effort and it is the only approach help resolve the large-nature problem and it includes many countries. The Commission said more than half of the people who adventured the sea last year were fleeing the war or oppression in Africa and the Middle East, hence they deserve refugee status. = Lana =
