Tripoli, 14 April 2105(Lana) The UN Special Envoy to Libya
Bernardino Leon on Monday said the dialogue talks hosted by Algeria,
and which included party leaders and activists would discuss a draft
agreement for a solution to the crisis in Libya.
The UN Support Mission in Libya official website quoted Leon as
saying in remarks at the opening meeting in Algiers 'we are here
today to send a strong message that there will be no killing in
Libya, and that all Libyans should be able to live together.'
'We will listen to the opinions of all participants and will
discuss the situation on the ground, and we have to send a message to
the fighters that they must give us a chance to find a political
solution, especially that this is the first time that representatives
of political parties meet to discuss the draft, Leon said, adding
that all parties would discuss the draft including the United
Nations.
Meanwhile the 4th round of dialogue meeting was expected to start
in Sukheirat, Morocco on Wednesday, to discuss formation of a
consententious government. It was slated to meet last week.
Leon said '' everyone has to make some concessions in order to
reach an agreement, stressing that that is very difficult and
requires consideration and resolve.
