Head of Education affairs in Tripoli denies outbreak of meningitis in schools.

Tripoli, 31.03.2015 (Lana) Head of Education affairs in Tripoli,
Mohamed Al-Qamwadi has denied any cases of meningitis in schools.
At a press conference in Tripoli Tuesday Al-Qamwadi said
meningitis reports are baseless. He explained, however that such
reports were based on the fact that there was a case with symptoms
similar to meningitis, but on examination by a doctor it showed
that the case is suffering from fever due to sore throat.
Head of pupils welfare in Tripoli told Lana that the schools welfare
unit is ready to treat any illness suffered by students.
