Morocco and Britain United in Support of Talks to Resolve Libyan Crisis.

London, 25 March 2015(Lana) Morocco and Britain have agreed to
support the ongoing dialogue negotiations between Libyan parties in
Al Sukheirat, Morocco, aimed to bring about peace and stability to
the country.
This came after talks held in Rabat on Tuesday by the Moroccan
Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahudin Mezwar, and his British
counterpart Philip Hammond, which dealt with the developments of the
Libyan crisis.
Morocco will continue to support the UN track, to contribute to,
and to make the UN Envoy's mission in Libya a success, namely to
reach a peaceful solution and protect Libya's sovereignty and unity,
Mezwar said.
On his part the British Minister praised Morocco's effort to host
the talks, aimed at ending the infighting and reaching a peaceful
solution.
On the issue of fighting terrorism, the Moroccan news agency
reported that the two sides have agreed to coordinate their efforts
on this matter.
They also discussed the latest terrorist operation in Tunisia,
and underlined the need to lend support to the country's effort to
confront terrorism, and to make the democratic transition in country
a success.
