UN Envoy Resumes Consultations With Libyan Antagonists in Al Sukheirat, Morocco.

Al Sukheirat, 25 March 2015(Lana) The UN Secretary General Special Envoy Bernardino Leon resumed here on Tuesday consultations with parties to the Libyan conflict in a bid to reach a peaceful settlement of the Libyan crisis. The resumption of consultation followed a set of ideas presented by the UNSMIL for Libyan parties to expedite the talks and to bridge the gap between the two sides. Before leaving to Brussels on Monday, Leon announced that all Libyan parties representatives would remain in Al Sukheirat for further consultations. Talks resumed on Friday after a break, and were attended by representatives of the parties to the conflict and foreign ambassadors under the sponsorship of the United Nations. Leon was meeting separately with each party in an attempt bridge the gap between the two sides. =Lana=
