Third Day of Political Talks Between Libyan Parties Concluded in Al Sukheirat, Morocco.

Al Sukheirat, 23 March 2015(Lana) Parties to the Libyan conflict
concluded a third day of the UN-sponsored talks here on Sunday.
The UN Special Envoy Bernardino Leon met separately with each
side, to discuss the two documents on the agenda of the meeting which
deal with security arrangements and the formation of a national unity
government.
Leon held several unofficial meetings with representatives to
discuss ways of hammering a solution to the crisis in Libya.
Political talks were resumed by the parties to the conflict while
the situation on the ground deteriorated as military operations
continued and attacks targeted facilities in different parts of the
country.
In a press conference, before the talks resumed yesterday, the
UN Special Envoy Bernardino Leon expressed his concern over the
military actions in Libya in the last days, calling for an
acceleration of the political negotiations between the Libyan parties
as much as possible to bring about a political solution to the crisis
in the country.
Talks resumed on Friday in Al Sukheirat, Morocco with
participation of various parties to the Libyan conflict and the
presence of fro reign ambassadors as observers under the auspices of
the United Nations.
