UNSMIL: Attacks Against Vital Institutions Deliberate Attempt to Undermine Efforts to Reach Peaceful Solution in Libya.

Tripoli, 19 March 2015(Lana) The UN Support Mission in Libya
UNSMIL has said that the international community was committed to
taking a firm position vis avis those who seek to escalate
hostilities in Libya, and described attacks against the country's key
institutions as deliberate attempts to block a political solution to
the crisis.
UNSMIL described attacks against airports as reckless and
unwarranted, and said they come against the backdrop of UN repeated
calls for all parties to refrain from any action that would escalate
tension, as leaders leaders engage in dialogue.
It expressed its disappointment at the deliberate actions against
civil infrastructure and other basic services across Libya, despite
the appeals from all parties to stop such attacks.
The UN Mission questioned the motives of the agitators of
military actions, which it said only undermine efforts to reach a
peaceful solution.
It urged Libyan leaders to shoulder their political and legal
responsibilities, to ensure that all forces under their command
adhere to their political obligations under the political process,
commit to de-escalation of tesion, and to focus on fighting the
common enemy 'terror groups'.
