Algeria Says Political Consensus Only Solution to Libyan Crisis.

Algiers, 11 March 2015(Lana) Algeria has excluded the military
solution to the Libyan crisis, which it said can only be solved
through political consensus.
Algerian Prime Minister Abdul Malik Salal said on Tuesday his
country rejected the military solution, stressing that the solution
is through political consensus only.
In a press conference with his Portuguese counterpart Pedro
Babos, Salal said 'everyone know that we are advocates of peace, and
crises of any kind have to have a political solution, not directly a
military solution which could make things worse.'
Salal reaffirmed Algeria's support to Libyan antagonists in their
meeting in Algeria, 'which emanates from Algeria's principle of
non-interference and the principle of defending the integrity of
homeland.'
He said 'Algeria supported pluralism but rejects division of the
territory.'
'After the good results we were able to achieve in Mali and
Tunisia, we hope that we will be able to reach a satisfactory results
in Libya though the problem is bigger in this country.'
He expressed hope that the 'Algerian approach would prevail, for
the sole benefit of the people of Libya.'
Libyan political leader and civil activists met in Algiers on
Tuesday as part of the UN-sponsored dialogue in a bid to end the
political and security crisis rocking the country since 2011.
