UNSMIL Announces Resumption of Talks Between Libyan Parties in Morocco on Wednesday.

UNSMIL has announced that dialogue talks between Libya rival parties
would be resumed in Morocco on Wednesday.
'Participants in the political dialogue have ended three days of
constructive and positive talks in Morocco, and would take some time
to consult with those whom they represent, before the talks could be
resumed on Wednesday March 11, 2015, UNSMIL said in a statement.
There was an agreement to allow a period for consultation on
Monday and Tuesday, for the key Libyan parties to assess the progress
that has been made so far, and to discuss the way forward, the
statement added.
It noted that key progress has been made in the talks aimed at
ending the conflict in Libya, which have focused on security
arrangements, to end the fighting and to form a national unity
government, that would reunite the country, the statement said.
It expressed hope that the talks would be resumed with the same
spirit of engagement by all parties.
UNSMIL expressed deep gratitude for Morocco, for hosting the
talks which reflects the Kingdom's commitment to peace and stability
in the region.
