Media Academics Institutions convening first founding meeting.

Tripoli, 03.03.2015(Lana) Media Academics Institutions convened their first founding meeting Sunday at the Libyan Graduate Studies in Tripoli. The institution according to those on charge aims at carrying out research and media studies, training workshops related to media fields and contribution to producing media syllabuses. The institution adopted its by-laws and elected its board of directors headed by Dr Mohamed Ali Al-Asfar and membership of four others. Dr Mohamed Ali Al-Asfar told Lana reporter that role of the institution to expand to include surveys public opinion probes and compile activities of media academics with connection to Media and Arts faculties at Libyan universities to join the institution. He revealed that the institution would assume its work after approval by Civil Society Institutions Support Office. The institution is the first of its kind and has an independent legal personality. =Lana
