Arab Human Rights Institute organizes seminar in Tunisia.

Tunis, 26.02.2015(Lana) Arab Human Rights Institute organized a
seminar in Tunisia on the needs of Libyan civil society with the
participation of several Libyan political activists from various
parts of the country.
Head of the Arab Human Rights Institute, Abdulbasat Ben Hassan said
at the opening ceremony of the seminar is to create new work
strategies in Libya to promote human rights culture and sustainable
civil society by building their capacities for strategic planning to
establish public culture of human rights.
He pointed out that civil society organizations in Libya currently
work in collaboration with Arab Institute For Human Rights to build
new Libyan society with human civil rights.
General supervisor of the study said project for the support of
Libyan civil society capabilities is a preliminary study based on the
interest in the development of human rights and societies working in
the field in Libya.
He pointed out that the study based on several main themes aimed at
diagnosing the Libyan reality after four decades of isolation,
difficulties, and political closure which led to complete absence of
civil society.
