Tunis, 25.02.2015(Lana) Foreign ministers of Tunisia, Al-Tyab
Al-Bakoush and Italy's Paolo Gentiloni stressed that addressing the
Libyan crisis would only be political and not military.
At a press conference Wednesday in Tunis they underscored that
dialogue and reconciliation among Libyan rivals are the only way out
of the crisis experienced by the country.
Italian foreign minister, Gentiloni underlined ' We would not
allow the partition of Libya', adding that Italy is committed to
respect UN resolutions and to cooperate with all western countries
with interests in Libya to find a peaceful solution to the crisis.
For his part, Tunisian Foreign Minister renewed his country's
rejection of any military intervention in Libya, stressing that the
military solution would only aggravate the situation and increase the
pattern of immigration and terrorism.
Al-Bakoush pointed out that the political conflict in Libya and
lack of a unified country contributed to the exacerbation of
terrorism which is fueled by lack of security.
