GNC discusses state financial and economic position and assesses 2015 budget.

Tripoli, 24.02.2015(Lana) The GNC devoted its Tuesday session in Tripoli to discussing the state financial and economic position and assessment of 2015 budget, besides assessment of financial institutions. GNC spokesman, Omar Hamidan said at press briefing today that all these issues were discussed at the meeting and were thoroughly studied and discussed by National Audit Bureau, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, GNC Finance Committee in order to see the role of the government at this stage and assess it. He said several questions were raised in the meeting about security situation, defense committee, media role, political situation, besides GNC reaching out to the international community and programme dialogue. He underlined that after the hearing the GNC praised the role of the government and its performance , even if there was a shortcoming it was not deliberate, and the government showed it is making its utmost efforts in order to carry out its tasks assigned by the GNC. He concluded by emphasizing the role of the government and activate communication between GNC and the government. =Lana=
