Cairo, 24 February 2015(Lana) An official of the oil industry has
said that oil was being pumped from the fields of Al Mssala and Al
Sarir to Al Hreiga oil terminal, on the eastern Libyan coast by a
ratio of 30000 bpd, boosting Libya's export chances after reopening
of Al Zweitina terminal.
'The flow still is limited, but the pipeline is operating, said
Omran Al Zwei, the spokesman for Al Khaleej Oil Co.
The capacity has reached 30000 on Monday, down from 40000 on
Sunday, due to technical problems at the turbines of Al Mssala which
were being fixed, he said.
Libya's oil exports declined to less than 200000 bpd when Al
Hreiga terminal was closed down because of an explosion on the
pipeline last week.
