Commander of Battalion 166 Says Forces Took up Positions to Recapture Sirte From Extremists.

Sirte, 22 February 2015(Lana) The Commander of the Battalion 166,
assigned by the General National Congress to restore control over the
city of Sirte, said his forces have taken up positions at the
entrance to the city, in anticipation of orders to recapture it.
'Orders have not yet been issued by the Army Staff for the
battalion to start the military operation to recover the city from
the extremists, Mohamed Al Husan said, saying the battalion is
prepared to start the fight for the city within hours.
The Army Staff has authorized, on Feb. 14, the Battalion 166 to
recapture the city of Sirte, after extremists established their
control over the Government buildings there.
