Tunis, 19.02.2015(Lana) Tunisian President, Al-Baji Qaed
Al-Sabsi, underscored that restoring Libya's stability is one of
core priorities of Tunisian diplomacy. He pointed out that Tunisia is
the country most exposed to the repercussions of the Libyan crisis.
In a statement Thursday before the diplomatic missions, regional
and international organizations on the occasion of receiving
administrative year greetings, Al-Sabsi explained that Tunisia
supports efforts aimed at finding a political solution to the Libyan
crisis through dialogue and consensus among all sides based on
principles and terms of reference notably unity of Libya, its
territorial integrity and rejection of foreign intervention.
Tunisia tries to promote coordination with countries comprising the
dialogue mechanism and supporting efforts of the UN envoy to Libya,
Bernardino Leon, he added.
Al-Sabsi considered terrorism as a phenomenon that targets the
stability and security of all countries including Tunisia. He pointed
out that terrorism has become a transnational plague and no single
country can be immune from it or eradicate it and that what
recently happened in France is a case in a point, Al-Sabsi added.
