South Initiative Delegation Meets Members of Shura Councils in Nafusa Mountain Towns.

Jadou, 19 February 2015(Lana) A delegation representing civil
organisations in the South has arrived in the town of Jadou in the
Nafusa Mountain on Wednesday, where they met members of the Shura
Councils in Jadou and the towns of Nalut, Kabao, Timzeen, Rheibat,
Yefren and Gal'a.
The delegation explained the initiative of the South which calls
for a ceasefire on all fronts, and dialogue to be initiated between
the conflicting parties to reach a reconciliation.
In statement at the meeting Mohamed Al Egeili, a delegation
member said the aim of their initiative is to 'end hostilities and
bloodshed and to save Libya.'
He said across the towns they visited they have had a sense of a
real desire by the local people to restore to dialogue and to end the
fighting between the people of one nation.
The Head of Jadou Local Council Salem Al Badrani said Jadou
supports any effort that could lead to an end the infighting and
restore Libya's position and prestige.
The delegation was expected to travel to the town of Tiji, before
moving to the cities of Bani Walid, Tarhuna, and Msalata and finally
to Tripoli where they will meet the displaced from Kikla, Wershaffana
and Tawergha.
