GNC Political Committee discusses beheading film.

Tripoli, 18.02.2015 (Lana) The GNC political Committee convened a meeting Wednesday in Tripoli to discuss the film broadcast by various media on beheading of 21 Egyptians and repercussions of the Egyptian aggression on Libyan sovereignty and bombing of Derna City. The committee reviewed contacts made by the Libyan state globally before convening the UN Security Council emergency session on Libya. The committee reaffirmed the GNC statement, condemning such terrorist acts and to use an iron fist against whoever may try to destabilize the country's security and stability. The committee decided to write to the UN Security Council to commission a transparent international investigation into the incident as well as the Egypt's violations of international law by attacking Libya. The committee discussed the political dialogue proposal submitted by UNSMIL to GNC's dialogue team in preparation for the next round of the dialogue. =Lana=
