Sarir Pipeline Fire Extinguished.

Tripoli, 15 February 2015(Lana) The fire which broke out on the
oil pipeline linking Al Sarir field to Al Hreiga terminal on Saturday
has been put off on Sunday, a spokesman for the 'Al Khaleej Oil Co.
announced.
'The Al Sarir oil field will resume pumping oil to the terminal
normally, after a technical inspection of the pumps has been carried
out, Omran Al Zwei said in press statements.
The explosion on the pipeline disrupted oil flow to the terminal
from the Al Sarir fields located in the Sirte basin.
The field has an certified reserve of 12 billion barrels and a
production capacity of 200000 barrels a day.
Al Zwei indicated that two tankers have been loaded with crude
from Al Hreiga terminal after a sit in by the oil terminals guard was
ended. One of the tankers was loaded with 700000 and the other
500000.
