Leon: National dialogue sessions characterized with positive spirit.

Ghadamas, 11.02.2015(Lana) Head of UN Mission in Libya,
Bernardino Leon confirmed that national dialogue round held Wednesday
between the Libyan sides was characterized with positive spirit,
expressing optimism over what he found with both sides.
At a press conference, following the end of the dialogue session
Wednesday in Ghadamas, "We did not discuss any issue with detail,
but that would be in the coming days, but discussions focused on
mechanisms, agenda and participants to the dialogue'.
The participants in the dialogue agreed on two significant
messages, which are the need to speed up dialogue and take decisions
swiftly, and concern over continued fighting in various regions of
the country, he added.
Reference was made to some agreements for ceasefire in some
regions but there are concern in particular over fighting in
Benghazi.
He pointed out that concluding dialogue session would be after
17th February celebrations, adding that it is important that we
remember this revolution and those who scarified their lives for
democracy in the country and that principles of this revolution would
inspire our dialogue, he added.
Leon thanks the people of Ghadamas for hosting the dialogue,
stressing that Ghadamas still proving that it is a city of peace and
dialogue.
