Ministry of Local Government Decides to Relegate Some Authorities to Local Councils.

Tripoli, 10 February 2015(Lana) The NSG Ministry of Local Government has issued a number of decisions to relegate some authorities to municipalities including revenues and spending the taxed money. The Ministry's Higher Committee for Local Government Strategy has outlined a list of revenues of local nature that would be relegated to the municipalities and local councils in accordance with the guidelines set by enforced legislations. In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Libyan news agency, the committee said it has laid down a working plan to transfer authorities to local assemblies. =Lana=
