An American official rules-out military intervention in Libya.

Algeria, 07.02.2015 - (Lana) The deputy American military
commander in Africa "AFRICOM' 'Philip Carter' , on Thursday ruled-out
military intervention in Libya , to end the conflict among fighting
rivals , stressing that his country prefers the political solution
for the crisis.
The Algerian newspaper 'al-Khabar' on its website , quoted that
Carter during his visit lately to Algeria , as saying that , his
country " is looking for a political solution in Libya to achieve
development , and to solve the social problems in this country".
Carter confirmed Washington's support to the efforts of 'Bernardino
Leon' , the UN special envoy in libya , to find a political solution
to the conflict in the country.
