Parents of Two Libyans Detained by Algeria Issue Appeals for Their Release.

Sebha, 5 February 2015(Lana) After 20 day of their arrest, the
fathers of two Libyans detained by the Algerian authorities on the
border with Libya, have issued appeals for their prompt release.
Haj Shmas Gilwi, the father of Gilani 20, said his son was
detained along with his cousin Al Muntasir Al Arabi Daffah on the
joint Anai triangle area on the borders between Libyan, Algeria and
Niger.
'My son and his cousin were on their way to the town of Oweinat
when they wandered across the Algerian border and arrested, because
they were no Libyan Army outpost or border signs, Gilwi said.
On his part Al Arabi, the father of the 25 year old Al Muntasir
himself from Oweinat, said 'there were no border signs between Libya
and Algeria and he had to travel thousands of kilometers to reach his
detained son.
