Rome, 28.01.2015(Lana) The Italian foreign minister underlined
his country's intention not to close its embassy in Tripoli.
In a statement carried by the Italian news agency Aki, he said;
there is a monitoring operation by security and intelligence
officials, and the crisis unit to assess the security situation in
Tripoli.
In another development, the Italian official considered the
attack on Corinthia hotel was an attempt to delay and negatively
affect current efforts in Geneva to create consensus among parties to
the conflict in Libya.
He announced that Italy is watching developments beforehand
expressing solidarity with the victims.
