Three Security Guards Killed in Armed Assault on Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli.

Tripoli, 27 January 2015(Lana) Three policemen on guard at the
Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli were killed when assailants attacked the
facility after setting off a carbomb outside the building.
The blast caused damage to the front facade of the hotel and
several cars were burnt, officials said.
Some of the hotel workers were wounded by flying glass, the
spokesman for the Joint Security Operation Room said.
The Chief of central security Omar Al Khadrawi said three people
riding in a Hyundai Santa fe broke their way into the hotel lobby
after attacking the guards and setting off the carbomb.
Six people were wounded in the incident.
Two of the assailants were killed by the security, while the
third was being chased inside the hotel, Al Khadrawi said.
