Algeris, 19.01.2015(Lana) Algeria welcomed Sunday ceasefire
announcement in Libya by both parties.
It considered such step as positive and conducive to the political
solution to the crisis in the country.
The Algerian minister for Maghreb and African affairs, Abdulqader
Misahel told the Algerian news agency 'It is a positive step towards
a negotiating political solution to the crisis through dialogue
between Libyan parties except terrorist groups".
Misahel considered the step as comes at the time UN Special envoy to
Libya, Bernardino Leon is working to provide a comprehensive dialogue
to establish consensual institutions to run transitional stage.
He said Algeria would continue its support to the brothers in Libya
in their endeavor to find a political solution that protects
territorial integrity of the country ".
He also reiterated his country support to Leon's efforts, urging
Libyan parties to participate with good will in dialogue in order to
speed up a solution to the crisis, enabling the state to restore
peace, security and stability'.
The Algerian official considered the Libyans alone capable of
identifying the bases and land marks of the political solutions
without all firms of Foreign intervention".
He recalled that Algeria has always warned against the dire
repercussions posed by the cycle of violence on the future of Libya
and stability of the region".
He stressed the need to help Libyan parties to get out of the armed
confrontations and make dialogue option overriding to reach a
political solution to the crisis that dates back to four years.
