GNC postpones to next Sunday debate on issue of participation in Geneva dialogue .

Tripoli, 12.01.2015 (Lana) The GNC postponed in its extraordinary
session today devouted to the discussion of UNSMIL proposal on date,
venue and agenda of the Libyan dialogue to next Sunday.
Second deputy president of GNC Dr Salah Al-Makhazoum underlined
at a press conference Monday evening that head of UNSMIL, Bernardino
Leon rushed the announcement of approval of parties to take part in
Geneva dialogue before presenting this issue to the GNC for a vote.
Al-Makhazoum pointed out that other parties which were not
originally included for participation in the dialogue were invited.
However, he said GNC members delegated to liaison with the UNSMIL are
communicating with Lion to make the dailogue successful.
Al-Makhazoum underscored the keen interest of the GNC in
dialogue, being the only way out from the current crisis provided
that invariables are maintained such as those spelled out by the GNC
and foremost respect of the judiciary, the dialogue be national and
not to compromise the invariables of 17 February revolution and the
Constitutional Declaration for they enjoy consensus among all
Libyans.
