A celebratory ceremony was held on Thursday to mark the occasion, attended by the head and members of the Municipal Council, a number of officials from various sectors, dignitaries, notables, and residents of the city.
The Municipal Council, explained that it had undertaken the work of connecting the secondary water lines from the main river line to the main reservoirs that supply water to the neighborhoods and residential areas, in cooperation with the Water Services Center in Jado.
