Tripoli, July 12, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul-Sadiq, discussed with the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in gas projects and vocational training.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Ninth OPEC World Seminar, discussed the possibility of leveraging Saudi Aramco's expertise to support the Libyan Ministry of Oil's efforts to increase production and achieve optimal utilization of natural resources.

The two ministers also reviewed efforts to update the joint vocational training plan, the details of which will be announced soon, in a move that reflects both sides' commitment to building qualified national cadres.

The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening fraternal relations and opening new horizons for integration in the energy sector to serve the common interests of both countries.
