Tripoli, July 1, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Civil Service, Ali Al-Abed, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority to follow up on the issue of job releases in public agencies. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and relevant committees from both ministries.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the results of the release system. The data of approximately 210,000 employees were registered, 94,775 of whom were released. The files of 92,182 employees were reviewed to ensure the integrity of their procedures. These files were then referred to the Council of Ministers to provide the necessary financial allocations.

Al-Abed affirmed that the Ministry continues to work on organizing job structures and addressing past backlogs, ensuring employee rights according to transparent and organized regulations.

The meeting also announced the lifting of restrictions on employment, subject to full compliance with approved legal procedures.
