NOC signed a memorandum of understanding with TPAO.

Istanbul, June 25, 2025 (LANA) – The National Oil Corporation (NOC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) today, Wednesday, in Istanbul.

According to the MoU, signed on behalf of the Corporation by Chairman of the Board of Directors Masoud Sulaiman and on behalf of TPAO by its General Manager Ahmet Turkoglu, the Turkish company will conduct a geological and geophysical study of four offshore areas.

The NOC reported that during the signing ceremony, discussions were held regarding the conduct of a two-dimensional seismic survey (10,000 km long) and the processing of the resulting data within a maximum period of nine months.
