Al-Baour holds bilateral meetings in Brussels.

Tripoli | May 21, 2025 (LANA) – Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour discussed with Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, ways to deepen political coordination and implement the outcomes of the sixth African-European Union summit.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting was held today, Wednesday, in the Belgian capital, Brussels, and addressed the implementation of the outcomes of the sixth summit between the two unions, in a way that enhances security, stability, and sustainable development on both shores of the Mediterranean and consolidates the spirit of a balanced partnership based on mutual interests.
The meeting also reviewed the efforts of the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity to strengthen the security and stability sector in the capital, Tripoli.
