Washington, April 26, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Rajab Abdul-Sadig, met today, Saturday, with a delegation from ExxonMobil, on the sidelines of the 2025 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington.

The ministry stated, via its official Facebook page, that the meeting included the company's Vice President for International Government Relations for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean, Rushdi Younsi, the company's Co-Head of International Crude Oil Trading, Chris Taggart, and the Minister's Advisor, Jamal Huwaisa.

The ministry explained that the meeting discussed investment opportunities in the fields of exploration and production, which will enhance cooperation between Libya and ExxonMobil and support efforts to develop the Libyan oil and gas sector.
