NOC discusses cooperation in energy production and related services in London.

London, April 8, 2025 (LANA) - Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Sulaiman, discussed cooperation in energy production and related services with the heads and representatives of several oil and energy companies from around the world, led by the American company ExxonMobil.

The NOC's media office stated that the meetings took place on the sidelines of the third phase of the public bidding round, which the corporation organized yesterday morning, Monday, in the British capital, with the attendance of major international companies operating in the energy and oil sectors.

The NOC explained that during these meetings, the company representatives learned about the nature of work in companies and oil fields in Libya, the areas currently witnessing development, and the corporation's strategies aimed at increasing production.

According to the media office, company representatives were also briefed on the requirements and business needs of the Libyan oil and gas market and expressed a broad interest in building strong partnerships with the Libyan oil sector.
