Libya Participates in the African Youth Leadership Summit in Addis Ababa.

Tripoli, April 3, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Youth in the Government of National Unity, Fathallah Al-Zani, will participate in the African Youth Leadership Summit, which will be hosted in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, from April 3 to 5, 2025, under the theme "Unleashing the Power of Youth for a Prosperous Africa."

The summit, organized by the African Union, aims to enhance youth participation in efforts to achieve peace and sustainable development on the continent and consolidate unity among African youth by discussing key issues, such as diplomacy and the role of youth in protecting African interests at the international level.

The Minister is expected to review Libya's experience in youth empowerment (the "Return to Life Plan") to support them and develop policies aimed at involving them in decision-making, thanks to the significant attention and support provided by the Government of National Unity.

Al-Zani will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with various youth leaders from across the African continent to enhance networking, sustain joint action, and exchange experiences among various youth leaders and councils in Africa.
