Gaza, April 1, 2025 (LANA) - Journalist Mohammed Saleh al-Bardawil, his wife, and children were killed early Tuesday morning as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting his apartment in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft targeted al-Bardawil's apartment in the Emirati neighborhood west of Khan Yunis, resulting in deaths and injuries. The journalist, his wife, and children were also killed.
Al-Bardawil is the third journalist assassinated by the Israeli occupation since the resumption of the war of extermination in Gaza on March 18, following the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, which the Israeli government had overturned.
With al-Bardawil's assassination, the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the 18-month-old war of extermination has risen to 209.
