Tripoli, March 19, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity condemned in the strongest terms the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in a large number of Palestinian martyrs and wounded.

The Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and a clear breach of the recently reached ceasefire agreement. It called for urgent and decisive measures to protect the Palestinian people from these ongoing crimes and violations and to ensure that those responsible are held accountable, as they represent a continuation of the occupation's policies of killing, displacement, and obliteration of legitimate rights.

In its statement, the Ministry called on the international community and active international organizations to take all necessary measures to protect lives and holy sites from aggression and ongoing violations of international and humanitarian law and human rights.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation concluded its statement by affirming Libya's firm and supportive stance on the just Palestinian cause, and its absolute solidarity and permanent support for the brotherly Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to achieve their inalienable rights.
