The President of the Supreme Judicial Council stresses the need to ensure the prestige of the judiciary and show respect for it.

Tripoli, March 13, 2025 (LANA) - The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Counselor "Miftah Al-Qawi", accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Council, visited the South and North Tripoli Courts of First Instance yesterday to review the progress of work and the difficulties they face. During the visit, several issues were discussed, including the assault of Judicial Council member Judge Ali Al-Sharif. Al-Sharif affirmed his close follow-up and awareness of the case and the progress of the investigations, according to what the Council posted on its official Facebook page.
During the visit, Al-Qawi emphasized the importance of self-restraint, not being swayed by rumors, and awaiting the results of the investigations.
He also emphasized the need not to allow these circumstances to be exploited. Calling for the necessity of preserving the dignity of the judiciary and showing respect for it.
