Al-Abed discusses with the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of work and training

Tripoli, March 10, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida discussed with the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires "Lu Jian" ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of employment, training and rehabilitation.
The two sides discussed mechanisms to accelerate the return of Chinese companies to Libya to resume contracted development projects and enhance cooperation in the field of modern technology and digital transformation, with the aim of keeping pace with global developments and improving the Libyan work environment.
The meeting also discussed a draft memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the fields of vocational training and employment, and in organizing the movement of workers, in addition to
activating the agreement related to the establishment of the Libyan-Chinese Center for Vocational Training and Rehabilitation in the city of Benghazi.
