Major General (Al-Khitouni) calls for raising the level of readiness and discipline to protect the ports and strategic areas

Tripoli, March 10, 2025 (LANA) - The Director of the Law Enforcement Department, Major General "Abdul Hakim Al-Khitouni", held a meeting yesterday, Sunday, with the officers assigned to work at the Ras Ajdir land port and the city of Mizdah to evaluate the security situation and enhance the performance of the patrols assigned to secure the border gates and ports.

The meeting reviewed the mechanisms for developing field work, the challenges facing the security elements and ways to enhance coordination between the various units to ensure achieving the highest levels of readiness for various developments.

Major General "Al-Khitouni" stressed during the meeting the importance of supporting the security concentrations with the necessary equipment and resources, stressing the need to raise the level of readiness and security discipline to protect the ports and strategic areas, in order to achieve security and stability in these areas.
