To enhance its political role: The UN mission announces the launch of the Libyan women’s platform on Facebook

Tripoli, March 09, 2025 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced the launch of the "Libyan Women's Platform", a special group for women on Facebook managed by a team from the mission, coinciding with International Women's Day.
The mission said on its website that this platform represents a space to enhance the role of women in various fields, support their rights, and involve them in the political process and its various paths.
It stressed that the platform represents a space to exchange views on challenges and possible solutions in full respect for Libyan values, culture, principles, and local and international legislation related to women.
