Rome, March 6, 2025 (LANA) - The Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya, Belqasim Haftar, and his accompanying delegation met at the headquarters of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Rome, with the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and other officials of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya said that the meeting discussed ways to develop joint cooperation between the two sides in the fields of development and reconstruction, especially in the sectors of health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, transportation and air freight, and focusing on resuming flights between Libya and Italy.

The Fund added that the two sides agreed to form specialized technical committees to follow up on the implementation of the agreed-upon projects and develop executive frameworks for the joint work strategy between the two countries.
