Cairo - March 04, 2025 (LANA) - A meeting was held on the sidelines of the emergency Arab summit held today, Tuesday, in Cairo, which included the person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Taher Al-Baour", "Ahmed Attaf", Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad in Algeria, "Mohamed Ali Al-Nafti", Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad in Tunisia, and "Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug", Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Mauritania, to discuss preparations for the tripartite presidential summit scheduled to be held in Tripoli next April.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the meeting discussed preparations for the tripartite presidential summit scheduled to be held in Tripoli next April, where the attendees stressed the need to follow up on the work of the technical committees tasked with preparing for the summit, while emphasizing the importance of political coordination to review and discuss the proposals of these committees to ensure the achievement of the summit's objectives and enhance joint cooperation between the three countries. The ministry indicated that this meeting comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation between the Maghreb countries, and confirming their joint commitment to confronting regional challenges and enhancing economic and political integration.
