Tripoli, February 21, 2025 (LANA) - US Special Envoy Richard Norland and Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Libya Jeremy Brent met graduates of exchange programs between Libya and the United States.

Norland said in a post published by the US Embassy on its Facebook account today, Friday, that "it was a pleasure for Chargé d'Affaires Brent and I to meet in Tripoli with Libya's future science and technology leaders.

He added that these graduates of exchange programs between Libya and the United States are impressive, and they strengthen the ties between the Libyan and American people.

He continued, "Libyan youth like those we met yesterday will work to build Libya's economy in the future, and we hope that their experiences in the United States will contribute to enhancing the prosperity of our two countries."
