New York, February 15, 2025 (LANA) - The Arab Group at the United Nations announced its rejection of the forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

The Arab Group said in a statement that the Palestinians do not want to leave their homeland and are attached to their land, calling on the Security Council to implement Resolution 2735, which includes the reconstruction of Gaza and the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The statement stressed the need to end the illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories within a year in accordance with international resolutions.

The Arab Group at the United Nations added that the State of Palestine must be granted full membership in the international organization, and the Gaza Strip must be rebuilt without displacing its people.
