Khartoum, February 14, 2025 (LANA) - Sudan called on the African Union on Thursday to end the freeze on its membership in the African organization, which has been ongoing since 2021.

The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Youssef, sent a written message to the foreign ministers of the member states of the African Peace and Security Council, in anticipation of the council's meeting that will be held on Friday in Addis Ababa, according to Sudanese media.
