NOC commends the modernization of the National Drilling Fleet and the development of the Oil Clinic.

Tripoli, 12 February 2025 (Lana) National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed yesterday projects accomplished in 2024 and the target for 2025, in addition to the budget needed to implement them, during the annual meetings of the Oil Well Drilling and Maintenance Company, the Research Center, and the Oil Clinic in Tripoli.

The meetings reviewed the achievements of 2024, as the National Drilling Company drilled 14 wells and maintained 213 oil and gas wells, while the Research Center completed 54 technical studies and 948 laboratory analyses.

The Corporation's Board of Directors commended the efforts of the National Drilling Company in improving its services and modernizing its rig fleet to support drilling operations and increase production, stressing its continued support for the company and the center as the research and technical arm of the Libyan oil sector.

The Corporation's Board of Directors praised the development of the clinic and the increase in its bed capacity by about 241 beds, stressing the Corporation's interest in the quality of its medical services for more than a quarter of a million users in 28 oil companies.

The meetings were attended by the chairmen and members of the boards of directors of the company, the center, the clinic, general managers, department managers, and a number of specialists.
