Al-Lafi meets with the Austrian Foreign Ministry delegation.

Tripoli - February 11, 2025 (LANA) - The Deputy of the Presidential Council "Abdullah Al-Lafi" reviewed today, Tuesday, at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, with the Director of the North Africa and Middle East Department at the Austrian Foreign Ministry "Gerold Vollmer" the bilateral relations between the two countries, in the presence of the Austrian Ambassador to Libya.
The Presidential Council stated, that the meeting discussed the joint relations between the two countries, cooperation in the national reconciliation file, and the efforts of the Presidential Council to end the political stalemate, adding that "Al-Lafi" called on the Austrian delegation during the meeting to return the Austrian embassy to work from Tripoli and the return of Austrian companies to work in Libya.
The Austrian official stressed his country's support for all the efforts of the Presidential Council aimed at pushing forward with a comprehensive and inclusive political process that paves the way for holding free and transparent elections.
