Youth Ministry delegation visits the Netherlands.

Tripoli, February 10, 2025 (LANA) - An official delegation from the Ministry of Youth, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Planning and Development Affairs, Eng. Randa Gharib, visited the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of the Ministry of Youth's efforts to enhance international cooperation and benefit from the best global practices in supporting the youth sector.

The visit included a meeting with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the delegation met with the Deputy Director General for International Cooperation, and discussed the Ministry's work mechanisms and initiatives supporting the youth sector, including youth centers and empowerment and development programs.

The delegation also visited the Hague Municipality to learn about the Dutch experience in supporting youth, where the municipality's role in developing early youth initiatives was reviewed, with a focus on care, prevention and community participation. The two parties discussed ways of cooperation in involving youth in formulating policies through youth advisory councils.

This visit comes within the strategy of the Libyan Ministry of Youth to benefit from international expertise, and enhance the opportunities for Libyan youth to learn, develop and participate effectively, which contributes to building a brighter future for them.
