Discussion of cooperation plans between the Ministry of Health and the United Nations Office for Projects

Tripoli, February 09, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Health in the Government of National Unity held an expanded meeting with the United Nations Office for Projects to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two sides in the health field.

The meeting - which was chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Technical Affairs and the Diwan, in the presence of the representative of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - reviewed the achievements made over the past years by representatives of the United Nations Projects Mission, in addition to discussing plans, programs and projects implemented in a number of Arab countries, including Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria.

The meeting - in which the directors of departments, offices and agencies affiliated with the ministry participated - also discussed the priorities of the health sector in coordination with the International Cooperation Office and the directors of the relevant departments and offices, within the framework of enhancing joint work mechanisms and supporting efforts to develop the health system.
